    Our client is  a major player in the global DIY market, ranking in Top 5 globally, operating in  more than 10 countries and exceeding €10 billion turnover.

    The company was preparing to enter to Turkish market through a partnership and wanted to open their first store in 2010.

    The strategy of the company was to continue its expansion by opening new stores and effectively integrating into the local market which meant on-site recruitment and creating central buying offices specific to each country.

    In order to achieve this target, DataExpert was asked to search for various senior executives who would be responsible for the management of different functions in Turkey.

    Partnering with the client, DataExpert defined the qualifications and the job descriptions of  various senior executives for Finance, Procurement, Category Management, Sales and Retail Management functions. The various senior executives  who would function as the head of these departments had to take over the business of related function and build his team by implementing his leadership skills.

  • Implement

    DataExpert conducted  a deep search within the retailer market and identified qualified candidates for the position. Our partner engaged in this assignment, carried the whole process for the client, presented the opportunity to the potential candidates in a compelling way and was able to attract number of possible candidates for the client.

  • Place

    At the end of the search, the ideal combination of candidates presented to the client. Furthermore our client have received additional information about the complete market condition and the response from the market, which enabled them to structure their Turkey organization in a more organized way. Our partner, carried out the meeting process for the client and candidates, where the contribution of attendance added value to the meetings. The client was fully satisfied with the selection process and the strategic support of DataExpert. The package was furnished with the counseling of DataExpert where the negotiations were carried by DataExpert in a professional way while ensuring a successful placement of this project.

  • Confirm

    The total process was completed within 12 weeks and the successful candidates were integrated to the client organization with the help of DataExpert. The various senior executives took over the management of business in their departments and built their teams successfully. The company entered to Turkish market and started its operations in 2010. Within 3 years they expanded their operations by opening new stores in different cities. This assignment proves that, how the right selected candidates can contribute to company’s success.
